Education

The Education & Training Committee (ETC) is in charge of developing and promoting the educational and training programme of ESICM in a context where upskilling velocity is crucial to react to continuous challenges and changes occurring in Intensive Care. ESICM strives to contribute to the green transition and provide environmentally sustainable education, with special attention to inclusion, internationalisation, multidisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration and teamwork. 

This entails coordinating the efficient and effective work of CoBaTrICE, e-Learning Committee, the Clinical Training Committee, as well as the European Diploma in Advanced Intensive Care EchoCardiography (EDEC) and the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC). Continuous cross-cutting collaboration is boosted with other Committees, Scientific Sections and Working Groups of the Society for an inclusive educational offer.
